Fitness For Purpose - The Style of my photoshoot portrays a Glamour look to advertise the new Red Mac Lipstick Product. To show the red lipstick effectively, we used white background and black clothes so that the model wearing the lipstick will be in contrast with the background, to ensure it stands out. This is an appropriate match for the product because the lipstick is easily seen, and the glamorous look including the fashion, such as the black flapper dress will catch many women's/girl's attention in which are the target audience for this photoshoot and help advertise the new lipstick.
Here are some of my most successful pictures taken in the photoshoot. These photos are advertising Red Mac lipstick, in which the Female Model, Felicity Stocker is wearing.
This photo was shot at eye level, which helps the viewer feel as if they are there in the photo, and helps them connect with it more, letting them focus on the main subject.
The Background of this photo is plain white so that the main subjects stand out and help the audience focus on what it more important. The red lipstick being advertised is on contrast with the white background which helps highlight it and advertise it better. The plain background also ensures that nothing distracts from the main subject.
The lighting key for this image is High key, which made it evenly lit, and gives it a realistic look creating an upbeat mood making the photo more interesting and exciting for the audience to look at. The lighting is fairly high quality, which helps to show the contrast between the red lipstick and the blank background helping the audience to see what is being advertised easily.

The lighting used for this photo was a various amount of studio lighting, which mainly consisted of a key light, as the main light. It was the strongest and had the most influence on the look of the scene. We placed it to the side of the subject. We then had a fill light which was on the opposite side of the key light used to fill the shadows created by the key. It was softer and less bright than the key so that the photo was not over exposed. Lastly we used the back light, behind the subject which lighted it from the rear. There were other lights used for the photoshoot which helped to brighten the picture and provide definition and subtle highlights around the subjects outlines.
2) Composition : This photo also uses the rule of thirds, because Sam is placed on the imaginary vertical line that lies to the left, and Felicity is placed on the imaginary vertical line that lies to the right. This helps the viewer focus on the two most important subjects in the photo and helps to add balance and interest to this photo.
